Message from The Founder of Jabari International:
"Hi. My name is Mookho (Mo) Ndlovu and I am the founder of Jabari International. People always ask what inspired me to start Jabari and I honestly never have a definite answer. One thing I know for sure, though, is that PURPOSE led me here. There is nothing I love more than helping others. My passion for working with vulnerable people led me to my Behavioural Science (Psychology and Sociology) degree.

When the pandemic started, I was working at a Women's shelter at the time. I LOVED my job but unfortunately, I had to stop working there and care for my 2 daughters.

Being at home provided me more time for self reflection and one question in particular kept popping up; "WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE?" That's what led to my "Ah ha!!" moment. Watching what was happening in the world and talking to my friends, family and other people back in my home country of Lesotho made me realize they were going through so much emotionally and financially with little to no support from anywhere. I realized how blessed I am to be in Canada, a country with abundant resources to help people address and fight mental health issues. That was when it dawned on me that maybe being in Canada is part of my purpose; maybe God brought me to this country so that I could help those that I left back at home. Not just in Lesotho but Africa at large. That idea warmed my heart so much that even as I write this, my heart is full of joy, knowing I can play a small part in making a difference in someone's life. There's nothing that'd make me happier than to see people get help with their mental health. Jabari is here to do just that."
